Andrea Navedo was born in the US and has written a number of books. She began her career on soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she was in a number of roles supporting primetime TV. Andrea Navedo is an American actor and singer, born 10 October 1977 at The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her career as an actress in soaps that aired on daytime television. In 1995-1997, she played Linda Soto in ABC's soap drama One Life to Live. In 1999, she was part of the cast of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she made her debut on screen with a brief character on the show Girl 6. She then appeared in New York Undercover episodes and The District. In 2001, Navedo co-starred in the action-comedy Double Take. Double Take and the following year, in the drama film Washington Heights. Navedo starred in NBC's crime-drama Law & Order for a regular role as the Detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. In the following years, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in numerous movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo has also played several characters who appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film where Navedo was the lead. the parody of The Fast and the Furious film series, which was released in 2015. Navedo began her professional acting career on the daytime soaps.
